People of Purpose

Connecting people to their unique human experience through Purpose.

Sep 2, 2018

This week's episode is the first episode in our 5-part Why PoP series.

This series delves into the myriad of reasons why and how I'm doubling down on my commitment to People of Purpose as I enter this year as a full-time graduate school student, middle-school teacher in San Francisco, and host of People of Purpose podcast.

Today's episode is about my purpose and how PoP grows me into purpose. I feature my story and tenants of my purpose journey. I discuss the power of courage, what I've learned from my guests, lifelong-learning, balance, and patience. I zone in on my story of the past year and a half in which I had no address, fixed community, job, relationships, etc. This was a time where People of Purpose became a grounding force that has consistently propelled me into the purposeful life I am now living. I finish the episode sharing my highest goal for myself that I'm consistently moving towards.

Heres' my purpose statement that I build today's conversation around:

My purpose: To be a conduit of God’s love by accepting everything I am, opening myself to learning through challenges of difference and perspective. Using my best skills to help others understand and fulfill their unique purpose to live out their soul's desire.

"Unlock your purpose; Unleash you potential”

**Note - The next four episodes in this series will be published tri-weekly the week before each upcoming guest episode. I have moved the publishing schedule of guest interviews to tri-weekly.
